How to Draw a Koru

Here begins a set of lessons (ten in all) about drawing and designing with the Koru motif. The koru is the fern frond before it unfurls. It is a basic in Maori design.

Have fun with it. Don't worry about being perfect. The lessons are pages from one of my notebooks. They are small, easy snippets of information.

Practice drawing these. Do them facing everywhere, big and small, fat and skinny.
